DD has homecoming this weekend. This is her senior year, and she is going with a group of friends. I like it that way...no pressure for dates, and this way she can spend the evening with people that she really enjoys being with. We went shopping for a dress Sunday (I know...nothing like last minute, but finances are what they are right now). We have one on layaway that we know we can pick up on Friday, the others are at a store that doesn't have layaway. We like them all (except the one that I made her try on just because I loved the color...I still like it, but DD doesn't lol)..... I'm curious what YOU would pick?
1. 2.
3. 4.
5.
I like 1, 5, and 2 in that order.
the only one I really like is number 2, the gold one. It is beautiful on her! It goes with her coloring and shows off her figure to perfection while the others, in my opinion do her an injustice.

Ditto! That's exactly what I was thinking!

That's my favorite too, because of the color and the shimmer. But she doesn't see it as a party dress lol.blbabe1234 wrote:1grandma wrote:the only one I really like is number 2, the gold one. I do think that one might be more "comfortable" to wear...no worries about straps falling down or having to be so careful about leaning over, etc.Ayla wrote:That's my favorite too, because of the color and the shimmer. I like number 4.....at first I liked the gold one but ya know what? It looks like something someone 50 years old would wear to a party and maybe that is why we like it....now if you can find something like number 4 but in the gold color, that would be really cool.
I like dress 1.

2, 5, then 1. Which one is she the most comfortable in. She needs to feel good herself even if it's not the one we like.

I love the gold one on her too but 4. is cute too
I love #2 on her, but after reading some of the posts here I looked again and as beautiful as it is on her I can see where it does have an "older" appeal and I see your dd's point. So looking back again I would pick #1 or #5. They both are very pretty on her. I don't care for how #3 and #4 look on her.
I love the #2 for the same reasons as BiBi! It sets off her figure beautifully! The other dresses are really nice but are just variations of the same style. I don't think they do her justice.
I like number 1,4 and 5. I think number 2 looks to sophisticated for her. Something someone much older would wear on the red carpet.
