Wonderful challenge Andrea. I have not done that much fuzzy cutting. Some last month for one of the challenges. I usually use a punch or die cut. Now to find the right papers to use.
I cut out the butterfly motifs from Bo Bunny's Country Garden paper. Great challenge! Thanks!

I have never submitted anything here before-- I tried to post to this page and couldn't because I don't have a webpage/url/blog etc. I did post to gallery here my only post but I don't know how to post here.... Can you help?aceason wrote:I know this is a bit early but I wanted to make sure to get it up there for May 1st! Plus with the NSD crop, you can get started on this early!
We all know patterned paper has been around for a while now but one of my favorite trends I have been noticing is cutting out elements of the paper or using the frame on the exterior to add dimension.
My challenge to you is to cut out an element from a patterned paper. Think beyond using the premade cut out shapes and journal cards and try something new like cutting out the shapes like I did on this layout...
or specific elements like the butterflies on this one...
As usual, you have until the end of May to upload your project and post it to this thread! I will choose a random winner to receive a $5 ACOT gift card. So get those scissors and Xactos out and let's see what you come up with!

Simply go to your LO in the ACOT gallery & move the mouse curser over the LO and right click, click on copy & come back to this forum and in your post right click, click on paste!! VERY EASY!

Nice job, so cute!killarney_rose wrote:Here's mine!!! Gotta love a cat who loves the black box in front of your face!!! She loves to pose!
I fussy cut the flower out then took an exacto knife to get rid of the orange in the flower. The frame and center flower is bare chipboard. Once again I used he knife once the paper was glued on. Finally I grabed a bloomer to act as my center.
Loved loved this challenge because I've really gotten into this technique!
Cute, love that close up!blbabe1234 wrote:Here is mine. I cut the words and shapes out of the pattern paper from the Pet Stack - DCWV

I got some help from Ayla!! Thanks to her for posting and letting me know how to post . This is actually one I did a couple months ago....but fit this challenge...I am a "cutter outter" and usually if it a paper with patterns I see
as cutable I will buy at least 2 pieces so I can do this. So needless to say this was a challenge I thought I could do ... I am working on another one yesterday and today that will be a "new" one.
