Or maybe I will, having now seen the supply list. Remind me to pull my foot out of my mouth later.letumom wrote:Very pretty. I'm guessing that I won't have the supplies for this one....

would never have guessed these were made out of coffee filters!!!
Even if you don't have a styrofoam ball, go grab some coffee filters and lets make some pretty flowers!
STEP 1:
Take a coffee filter and fold it in half. Now fold it in half again. And again. It should now look like a small triangle. Be sure to press the folded side, you will be inserting it into a punch soon.

I'm here, but late... my parents are moving in a few weeks - bet my step-mom would love these!

Ok I don't know if I still have filters right now but I am excited to see carnations out of the filters... did roses for the wedding.
Well, I only have half of the list. I will have to bookmark this. I think my granddaughters would love to make these. Maybe, we could make Halloween or Christmas decorations.
I am here and ready gotta love flowersssssssssssssssssss but i jittery from all the coffee ... oh .. unused coffee filters ./
My parents are moving in a few weeks - bet my step-mom would love these! Reminds me of the giant carnations I made last week, too!

are you ready for the next step? you will need 3 filters for each flower.
STEP 2:
Very carefully thread the folded coffee filter into the punch. Because it is thick and layered, it has a tendency to get stuck. But you can do it! Just give yourself some time.
If you don't have a scallop or circle punch, just use a pair of scissors or one of your fancy machines to cut these out. I used one of the EK Success nested Scalloped punches

STEP 3:
Now punch down, you'll have 8 little round pieces that will become your flower. Stack these pieces up and make a small hole in the middle with your small hole punch (or anything sharp will work).

I need a bigger punch....well this will do for now since I don't have a ball
