No, you don't have to complete this in an hour, though we'd love to see your finished creations in our gallery!

Re: Sunshine Wall Art Class - Step In Here!
You will need to select a contrasting base paper. In this project, a blue cloud paper was used.

Step 2:
Cut down your base paterrned paper to desired size. Since my piece of blue sky paper was only 7.5" wide, I chose 7.5" x 7.5" as the base size for my artwork. Trim a bunch of thin, different sized strips of paper from your sunbeam paper. Try to use varying widths of trianglular shapes when trimming.

I don't want to go too fast, I'll give you time to gather your favorite papers.

Here is a picture of the cut strips of yellow/orange

This is a great way to use up your paper stash. If you're like me, I find it hard to throw out left-over paper. Ya never know, it just may be handy some day.

Re: Sunshine Wall Art Class - Step In Here!
ready for step 3?

Step 3:
Start laying your sunbeams out onto your base patterned paper, originating from the top right corner of your paper. Continue adding strips of paper, using a punched out circle as a guide for where the center of the sun will be. Fill in all spots until you've reached desired fullness. Try alternating the colors to provide more depth to your sunbeams (I alternated the use of my lighter yellows and darker oranges as seen below).

You will now need 2 circles. If you don't have a large circle punch (hint hint) or a circle cutter, try drawing around a glass and cutting out your circles.

Step 4:

Cut out 2 circles: 3.75" and 3.5". Adhere together using ATG adhesive. The smaller circle should be YELLOW, the larger circle should be ORANGE

still with me? I'll be doing a tube class at 1, so I'll be watching for you to join me!

Step 5:
Stamp your sentiment to the center of the circle. Adhere to center of rays with foam adhesive.
If you don't have a stamp, this is where you could use a sticker or rub-on. I hope your card shows YOUR unique creative side!
