I loved seeing all the new products coming out of CHA and couldn't help but notice all the cute little flags and pennants released as embellishments but companies such as Maya Road and Basic Grey.
These inspired me to make some little flags for my layout:
These are super easy to make on your own and then coordinate with the paper on your page!
Check out my layout link and you'll find the easy how to to create your own with toothpicks, although stick pins or super skinny nails would be fun too!

My challenge to you is to use flags or pennants on a scrapbook layout! You can use ones already made or be super creative and make your own! This challenge is open to both digi and paper scrappers and the prize will be a $5 ACOT gift certificate provided by me! Post your layout to this thread by March 31st and the winner will be chosen by random drawing. Let's see you wave those flags!
There were some great pages with so many flags flying! By a random number drawing the winner is.....croppinmama! I'll be sending you a $5 ACOT gift card here shortly!
Thanks everyone for doing my challenge! Now go check out April!

LOVE these little flags!! GREAT Challenge!! I have a pennant punch and now I'm looking for a punch for the flags. Do you have one? Who makes it?

I don't have either of these! Who makes the pennant punch? I love the shapes but I typically just cut my own and would love to have a punch!joannie wrote:LOVE these little flags!! GREAT Challenge!! I have a pennant punch and now I'm looking for a punch for the flags. Do you have one? Who makes it?

Love using Pennants. I have a sizzix die for them, plus a couple of my Cricut cartridges have them. And, I think I've got 3 stamp sets that have pennants.
Here's mine! I see a lot of little flags in my future layouts

So cute on the sides and the color brings out the patterned papers! Nice job!Retiree3 wrote:
Andrea, another great challenge. I found these pennant diecuts that I can use on my quickutz revolution. So quick and easy for making pennants and flags. Here's my layout for the challenge.
Here is mine, I loved the flag inspiration but the only place my mind went to was sports, well not being in that mood I went with hand cut pendents with some lite chalking for contrast. I love my nieces and nephews and scrapbooking for them is how I show it .
So cute, I'm going to have to look for those dies! Love the color combo too!Sandi0805 wrote:Andrea, another great challenge. I found these pennant diecuts that I can use on my quickutz revolution. So quick and easy for making pennants and flags. Here's my layout for the challenge.
