I think that was put in because sometimes the system kinda hiccups when you press the button and takes it as multiple clicks when it was really only one. When it did that then the same post would show up multiple times. So that message was set up to display if it was only fractions of a second between posts, ie faster that it is humanly possible to click multiple times and stop the multiple identical posts from showing up.


And that is the answer from the former Rocket Scientist in Houston just a couple of miles from the Johnson Space Center....
