I'm doing hybrid!
Check these out! I had fun making these...I should hope so anyway, because I decided to make 30 of them for DS;s class for Halloween...I'll fill them with little candy treats. I used HotFlashDesigns PookyPooky for the medallion, then some Fancy Pants stash for the box itself. It's a tutorial I found here! These are simple...I might make more of them for Christmas but I'll fancy those up more. Anyway...I thought they turned out cute!

Thought this looked easy enough for me! Soooo, I found the link to the pattern and when I open it, it's so big! I'm new at this. Help me out here...do I just change the size to fit my paper that my printer uses?
8 1/2 by 11? Will that make my box adequate size? I don't have a printer to print 12 by 12.

It should be the 8.5x11 when you open it. You just open your paper in photoshop, and drag it on top. Right click and create clipping mask. It will automatically cling over the pattern.
And OMG I love your fry boxes and am exactic to see you doing hybrid!!!

I don't have a 12x12 printer either. I just opened the template and printed it on regular paper, then cut it out. I then cut around it on my scrapbook paper with an exacto knife. I didn't care if it was perfect...figured it would line up pretty good. It's probably the size of a medium fry box from McDonald's...or pretty close anyway. When I cut them out of a 12x12 piece of paper, I can get 2 out of each sheet if I place the template a little cockeyed.debamas wrote:Thought this looked easy enough for me! Np, another way you can make it work is just print it, cut it out and use it as a template for your own pattern p Yes, I think this is what I'll try.

Re: I'm doing hybrid!
Ayla, thanks. I will do that. I found out just now I do not know how you quote others...Tried twice! I did print it on a piece of plain paper to ck out the size. Now to do it on cardstock and I'll have my template. These are cute, easy and hold just enough treat for my grandkids. They get so much from trick or treating but as Grandma, I just have to have a little something special for them.
