how do you store your ink pads????
I am looking for some way to store my ink pads. I've out grown the little basket that I had them stored in....yeah apparently I have a scrapping problem. ;) ;)

So I'm looking for ideas for storage.....any tips or tricks would be great...and if you have pics that would be awesome too!

TIA

The most wonderful idea I stumbled across is an old wooden cassette tape holder! I got it at Goodwill; it can sit on a shelf or hang on the wall, & the little compartments are perfect sized for ink pads! (SU ones, at least; the longer multi-colored ones don't fit well but I only have one of those).

My organizational ideas are not very creative. I have mine stored upside down in a drawer.

apparently mine are well stored in my children's craft boxes. I was looking for a marker tonight and found almost all of my stamp pads....

Usually I store them in a shoe box upsdie down. Guess I need a lock!

Mine are all over the place. Depending on what project I am working on at the time. Usually they are with the project they are to be used on. But the other ones are all over too. Boy, I need to get organized!

I have the old cassette holder also. For those pads that are a little thicker, you can sometimes remove the divider

Upside down in a little Rubber Maid tray that is a holder for a silverware drawer. I have plenty of inks, in my opinion-- probably 30- but I only buy I think what is called Cat's Eye and they all stack nicely so I don't need alot of room. But I can understand that you may have tons more, if this is your "thing"-- everyone has an addiction to something scrappy!

I just don't have that much ink. They sit on my table upside down within easy reach. When I finally get done with my scrapbuilding I hope to have a card catalog file or something similar where I can store them....but chances are my Distressed Inks from Tim Holtz will never leave my table.

Upside down, in a shallow, clear, plastic case.

I bought the storage system from CTMH - they store the pads upside down so they don't dry out as fast.

Re: how do you store your ink pads????
I have mine in an IRIS photo box that I bought from Costco. The photo boxes are the right depth for the ink pads to lay one row deep and there are feet for it to stand on it's side so that the pads are all face down when I'm not using them. (There are customer images on Amazon showing it with wooden rubber stamps in it. ;))
