I'm definitely an after Thanksgiving girl... one holiday at a time for me! My kids have started putting their lists together but no shopping yet.

I usually start picking things up during the summer. Actually we did a lot for our family who live in Malaysia since they were here in Aug/Sept, so they could take gifts back & save us the $50+ shipping! But DH and both our moms have birthdays this week, so I pick up stuff for the moms whenever I can and then hopefully have enough for b'day and also a start on Christmas for them!

I've already started shopping. I shop all year long for little things off and on. Now that we have our Xmas' lists done I've got a copy in my purse. I like to shop early and get it over with. But on the flip side, I love the rush and people running around to get that last minute sale too!!!

I try to take a holiday at a time, but this morning my DH helped me brainstorm for my 87 yr old dad and we ordered it online. One down!!!!

I shop all year round so when Christmas comes money isn't so tight. Sometimes that works against me though. I tend to end up with too much for people because I forget I already bought them something earlier in the year.

Im mostly done. Just my kids to do. WIth four kids, you learn to shop online and when you see a good sale. THen its not a rush, and I have a son with a birthday 5 days after Christmas, so its nice to be able to focus on that.

I am dealing w/ the fact my neighbor is decorating outdoors. They have the lights ON...hope its to see if they work. Then they had Cmas music thru a OUTSIDE speaker....NO, I wait for Cmas shopping!
