I care more about color and texture when selecting CS than the brand.

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I love Bazzill - in fact, have some on order here. Normally I buy whatever catches my eye that's the color I'm looking for - as long as the cardstock is thick. Wouldn't it be amazing to have every single color of whatever line you like best?

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I like Bazzill and use it from time to time. But, more often than not, I use whatever is cheapest at my lss. The Bazzill choices at my lss and my local Archivers are all textured (is that all Bazzill makes?) and most times textured cardstock doesn't match the feel of my layouts. Plus, I scrap in obnoxious colors lots of times - teetering on bright and fluorescent. Bazzill choices are much more reserved. :greenwinkb:
OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

DCWV- is hands down my favorite cardstock to use. Love the white core because I LOVE inking my projects. I can use any color of ink! It's the only cardstock I use!

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I used to buy what was on sale - and since I have no LSS near me, It would be packs of cardstock in very basic colors. I have been visiting some scrapbook stores whenever we take a drive and I really think Bazzil is the best for color selection and texture!

Lately coordinations has been rocking my world. I love the new textures as well as the old core colors. Have you seen the new Jenni Bowlin and I can't remember the other one, but they are just awesome!

For my basic card stock I have tons of Bazzill. But also like DCWV, Karen Foster, Basic Grey, Tim Caffey, and Flair with Design. Of course whenever I see something I like and it's a price I'm wiling to pay, I get it.

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
It really depends what I'm doing which I choose.
For cards, I choose mostly Papertrey Ink.
For pages, I choose mostly coordinations (I'm loving the texture, and the new prints are beautiful)

For cricut cuts I use Bazzil or Stampin Up depending on which color matches the best.
