Wow!! Now THAT was exciting...

Headlines are screaming about the 1000 drop in the DOW due to the happenings in Greece a bit ago...one very on the ball client called and took advantage of that drop, and according to him, I just helped him earn a years worth of making up the market. In a small way, I had a little part in the most historical DOW drop ever as it makes its way back up. I don't think I have ever had such a stressed 2 min. as I was while on the phone with this guy...but all is well, he's happy, I did good, and my boss should give me a raise.

Oh...and I am glad we don't have other clients as on the ball. If the phone had been ringing off the hook I would have had a break down for sure.

LOL......I found it kind of funny it ended up being over a trade selling Procter & Gamble. Trader entered a "B" for billion when he should have entered a "M" for million. 16 billion is a lot different then a 16 million dollar trade.

Glad you made some great trades for a client....makes your day doesn't it!!

I haven't moved my money back into stocks yet.....not going to.

It was not exciting seeing my and dh's retirement go down the drain in such a short amount of time. Luckily it (mostly) came back.

No - I can't. I'd get in trouble for disclosing anything...but it was just too gosh darn exciting to be able to do this for the guy and he was so stinking happy and I was so stinking nervous...but I got it right and my boss was proud of me for doing a good job. Whew!!

DH was watching and yelling the numbers to me - by the time I got to the living room, it was already back close to 400 points. What a fast ride THAT one was!
