I remember having a mock election for Ronald Reagan.
I was in kindergarten in 80, so I went all through school in the 80's.

I remember the shuttle explosion too. And chernoble blowing up, and the terrorists shooting up the airport in Vienna the day after I was there.

oh yea, the olympics werre in l.a. and my roomate got to go to the games because her mom worked for the dodgers.

all those too! My senior pictures have my pants 'pegged' - and that was in 93...so I guess that one hung on a little while or we were out of style!

Wow! A lot happened to me in the eighties! GREAT DECADE!
1980 - Sophomore in college, protests on campus over Iranian taking embassy in Tehran
1981 - pledge and initiated in to my sorority Delta Zeta
1982 - BS Agriculture Economics
1983 - MS Agriculture Economics (continued living in DZ house and active alum with chapter activities like an active)
1984 - First job out of college in West Palm Beach, FL - 3 months later I wanted to go home to Texas
1984 (Fall) - 2nd job in East Texas
1985 - met my husband
1986 - Accepted to Texas A&M for Second Masters. Challenger Exploded while I was in class at Texas A&M, Larry and I were married
1987 - Lynn was born, Second Masters went out the window
1988 - James was born
1989 - settled in as a stay at home mom

uhh, hmnn... after having 4 kids, everything's been fuzzy and

Both very good points!
However, you've also got wisdom and experience that I don't... I think it's a trade off...
And I guess I probably remember my baby blanket... mostly cause i still have it :P

everything it was a great year 1 word MICROWAVES but remember how big they were,this is so funny cause i was singing a song yesterday and rememembering lol black trans ams and big hair,I REMEMBER WHEN I got to see the really cute quARTER back strip down in locker room cause he got hurt in football game (i was the manager and coach started yelling out orders for me and other boy managers to strip him , he didn't remember i was a girl till after it was all over lol but i got to see alot that night) bet they can't do that these days oh yea it was somthing the 80's that is , I also graduated had 2 sons and went to germany in latter 80's
