very cool. i have always wanted to go to Disney for a band trip but it never works out that way.

This year we are going to Myrtle beach.. they will do one competition and then we spend the weekend down there

What competition in Myrtle Beach and when?

We are going down the weekend of the April 23. its some sort of Music Festival.

They've done a great job with the restoration after IKE. There are only a few spots where you can still see the devastation.

I have never been there either. Me and my 2 oldest kids will be going. Luckily we had the majority of the trip paid for by Bagging for tips at our local supermarket. (they are so nice at this place) we basically raised 1600 out of the 1875 that we needed.

So i am a pretty happy camper not sure if i will be that happy when i have to sit in a bus with 50 teenagers with raging hormones. lol

been there, done that (long bus ride with band kids) - from Charleston to Orlando was fine & fun - but the trip to Memphis never seemed to end.............

i live in Middlesex county so i guess that is central NJ but on the eastern side of the state

Ds's school did not do music festivals the years he was in band - but the marching competitions we did there in the fall were great. The kids will enjoy the trip (& the sights)
