I loved Captain Crunch and I never eat it now because I finally got smart enough to figure out that the roof of my mouth was going to hurt like heck the next day.
i think i pretty much stuck to rice krispies or at all that is all i can remember and still love them today. I also love the Special K Chocolately Delight now but man that stuff is not cheap
I eat frosted mini wheats daily.
They've changed Kix and I don't like them as well.

I love love love cereal! Lucky Charms is my favorite but I can't have that in the house now because DD wants it but she only eats the marshmallows so until she can eat the whole thing, we dont buy it. I agree, they should leave the marshmallows alone! my second fave is frosted flakes and I eat those on a fairly regular basis
We picked our favorite cereal by the toy inside the box. Remember when they used to have those?
My favorite kids cereal now is Peanut Butter Captain Crunch. It wasn't around when I was a kid.

My husband won't allow sugar cereals, so I get them when the kids are on break, just because they are so fun, and they should have them as kids. That being said, there is still a half box of fruit loops in the cupboard from Christmas because my kids can't stand milk. They claim that they get the runs every time they have it. So, I don't really even get cereal anymore, except for my hubby and myself. Real bummer.
I still love rice crispies and eat it on a regular basis!

My mother indulged me terribly and she let me have Wheaties w/ NO MILK on it, drizzled in honey with a pecan on top! It was a breakfast sundae.

Yep! My hubby's is Boo Berry, and he can only get it at Halloween! In our area they leave Count Chocula out all year.
frankenberry was a fav of mine but we have a small mom and pop store here that keeps all three in stock year around per my request They are really good about ordering what you ask for I was sooo sad to learn that they can't get my salsa mix that walmart quit carrying
I love cream of wheat too. Had it all the time growing up. But my 3 grandkids just love it. Whenever they are here that is their choice for breakfast.Laura wrote:alligatorally wrote:weird I know, but I absolutely loved cream of wheat. still do, but my kids hate it.

As far as I can remember my favorite was aways Cheerios - I´ve learned to like Honey Nut Cheerios now though!
Love Lucky Charms, Froot Loops, FrankenBerry, and Cap'n Crunch.... Still eat it from time to time!
Rebecca
My favorites are Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch and Cocoa Puffs, but we rarely ever had them growing up because they were too expensive. So you can darn well bet I buy them now! (When they're on sale, that is! )
My favorite was (and still is) Rice Krispies followed closely by Cheerios.
