If you had to admit the most selfish thing you do for yourself on a regular basis, what would it be?
at this point in my life, with two little kids, homeschooling the bigger one, and living with one who truly does not sleep, taking a shower each day feels very selfish.
hmm I would say getting online for a long time.
yeah, buying my scrappy stuff... buy its my only luxury, and I work a second job to pay for it, so is that really 'selfish' ?

I do tons of selfish things now that my DS is in college and not at home. I am online constantly, have a horse that I spend time with, scrap, do as little housework as I can get away with, avoid annoying phone calls now that I have caller ID, eat what I want when I want.
It is all about me!
When DS was home, I did everything for him, still do stuff but have lots of free (me) time now. I do stuff for DH like laundry and dishes and visit Harley shops frequently (usually he takes me out to eat or to Hobby Lobby, so it is worth it!).
I came from a family of 5 and am now truly enjoying being selfish!

scrapping and ignoring everyone, leaving them to fend for themselves
I have a perfectly good item, but I want one that is bigger and better. I rarely do this, so right now DH and I are weighing the pros and cons of getting it. I should be satisfied with the original item, but I selfishly want the newer one.

over the years I spent way too much money on scrapping supplies and I wish I had 3/4 of that money back now.
These days, I don't feel too selfish about much of anything. We're down to the lean of the bone with everything, including time.
