Life is good, and even better when the SUN is shining!
Thanks for hosting. This has been fun, and I definately have more books added to my must have list. Lol. Anyone else doing the other bingo later this afternoon?

Thank-you everyone, I've never won bingo before.
See you there. Off to go finish making the homemade chicken noodle soup for the sick kids, then hopefully getting some cropping/scrapbooking done for the rest of the night and afternoon. It's like being a single mom when my husband's out of town and the kids are stuck inside and sick. Oh well.... have a good afternoon everyone.

CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG - I just went to my bookshelves & was totally shocked that I have books of his I have had since college (about 30 years ago)!davsar wrote:
Have you ever read any Andrew Greeley books?
I've heard of him but have never read any of his works. What would you suggest?? He is a rather prolific writer.
My absolute favorite one is a bit dated now - "The God Game" - it was written in the beginning days of personal computers and computer games -20 year olds may not appreciate it - but to those of us who took computer programming with punch cards, it is a really cool book.
Otherwise I would recommend that you start at the beginning with "The Cardinal Sins" and then move into the others in that series - "Thy Brother'sWife" "Ascent Into Hell" and "Lord of the Dance" (which a also liked a lot.)
If you do not like these, try one of the more modern ones like "A Christmas Wedding."
These are not the best literary works, but I like the real life moral decisions and the outlook regarding God's forgiveness. There is also a lot of stuff about the Catholic Church - much of which is true.
They are easy reads & good for the beach or vacations.
