I just recently ordered 5 cricut cartridges from ebay! I started playing with them tonight...I loved my cricut before but OMG you can do some much with the layer button...just started playing around with it...wanted to share!! SWEET TREATS is too cute!

Well I haven't really done anything with what I have made...I just always wondered how they made the diecuts look so cute with the different colors...well it is called the layer button! So neat what it can do!

The layer button is on every cartridge...but it is on the side with the shift key...it is one of the Creative Feature keys.


I got alphalicious, sweet treats(layer button), zooballo(layer button), cuttin up, and stretch your imagination(layer button).

Well I loved sweet treats when I saw it. But when I got it I was thinking I would never make them as cute as they looked on the box...but you can!!!

Congrats Girl! I really want my own! I occasionally get to play with my aunts, but she only has two carts . I was still able to do a lot with just that! I can't even imagine what the possibilty would be with 5! Have FUN

Hmmmm... I might have to play around with my cricut today. I only have the original cartridge it came with though.

I watched those this morning. But the lady, Lisa didn't use a "layer button". So I wasn't sure!! But thanks for looking!!

if you go to the cricut website they have lots of tips and tricks on there. I LOVE my cricut! Also, if you look in the back of the book the cartridge came with it shows you how to use the creative feautres and what it can do. HAVE FUN!!

I get most of my cartridges on eBay at tremendous discounts and only from sellers w/ free shipping. Whenever I do an alphabet, I use the shadow layer to give it some oomph! Aren't they fun to play with?

I love the shadow feature and use it all of the time!!! The thing is you have to be willing to play with them to see what all you can really do. All 5 cartridges I order had free shipping too!
