We have been here for nearly four years. Moved in while I was pregnant with my first. Stayed way longer than I ever thought we would. But it is a fantastic, almost 100 year old house, and we loved it. And I am a bit sad, for I fear they are going to sell it and tear it down, but I am SO happy to finally have our own home.
Just wanted to say that.
Congrats on your new home. Don't forget to scrap photos of your old one.
Sorry to hear that, I have lived in my current home for 10 years, this is our first home, we moved in when we got married... 2 kids later we have out grown the space, but we have all our memories here. It is hard for me to move.. You will create new memories and have a wonderful life in your new home. Congrats! Can't wait to see pics!
It's sad to leave happy memories, but I am excited for you to make lots of new ones in your new home!!!
-If it's scrappy it makes me happy!
That's great!

It's hard to leave a home with so many memories, but you'll make new memories.

Congrats on the new home and like Tracy said...make sure to get lots of pics of the old one to scrap!
It's always nice to have a new home - I just hope they don't tear down the old one. I love the old Victorians.
I wonder, sometimes, if we ever give God a headache.
congrats to you. Were you renting?

I understand your mixed feelings. Enjoy your new place, Babe!

That does sound like it would be bittersweet! I'm sure you will miss some things about the old house, but the big closets and plenty of storage space in your new one will help you overcome it
We were renting. And when I told my landlord we were moving, she told me that after 19 years her husband asked for a divorce. She wasn't sure if they were going to re-rent it or sell it. And since they haven't shown it to anyone I am thinking they are just going to do what they need to do and then sell it.

Congrats on your new home! Take photos of different areas of your current house - and then you can scrap your feelings!
Enjoy your new home! It will eventually be more special because it is yours.
