How do you all do it? I've been working on the same page for a week, but don't find time! I put in my 40 hours at work, 7 1/2 hours commute time, make dinner, do laundry, clean (all w/DH's help), go to my son's football game, have church meetings (youth council advisor) and then I want to do something fun like scrapping! Where do I find the time....I know, stop cooking! LOL
Really how do you all find time to post, scrap & everything else?
I do have an advantage because I work for myself and I only schedule myself to work 2or 3 hours a day.
I can scarp anytime I want because I'm retired. When I was working, scrapping was not so easy. I feel for you because I know so many other things are taking up your time. I hope you can soon find the time to scrap.

I am not finding time to do it all. Working over 100 in a two time frame. DH is having to do more and more of the day to day house work. bless him. My kids are grown, but I am not getting to see them much at all.
I only get to scrap in small time frames. 20 or 30 minutes at a time. But my work area is only used by me, so I can leave thing out and go back when i have a few minutes.

I too am a SAHM. But I actually think I scrapped more when I worked because I set aside weekends to just scrap.
Britteny, Please don't use the word 'just' with SAHM! You put in more hours than I do! Enjoy every moment with your kids. They grow to fast!

When I was working full time, I would do it after I put DD to bed and on the weekends. Now that I'm part time, I have more time to scrap, which I'm really enjoying!
Your 7 hours of commuting time doesn't sound so fun.

I'm retired so can easily find time. I don't know how SAHM and working moms are able to do as much as they do.

I work from home, so commute from 1 bedroom to the other and just stop in the kitchen to make coffee. My husband works until later in the evening most nights so I only have to worry about my dinner..........and we, unfortunately, do not have children. So basically I should be scrapping more and playing on the computer less.........
But it's like I can't get off of it....maybe there is a group Computers Anonymous......Facebook Addicts...

now that my dd is away at school, I have lots of time. but I would trade it to have her back, at least in this state.
I don't have children to add to my activity list so I have a bit more free time than other peeps who work. I try to do some in the evenings and weekends!

I know it's hard when you are working, and I just joined the employment ranks again, so now it's back to the juggle. I find that I can't put pressure on myself. One thing that works is I meet w/a girlfriend every other week and we scrap for 2-3 hours at night. It does help in working on a project.
I'm still working on the Sept. sketch and I think I just finished it today. I leave my page, or whatever I'm working on, out on my desk & even if I just throw one thing on a page, then I feel like I've accomplished something. We don't have kids, so I probably have more free time than those that do have kids.
Or you could tell everyone to let you have 2 hours of time to yourself on Sat or Sun, and lock yourself in a room!!!!!

I scrap whenever I have a free moment.

I'm like you, I work full time and have a 2 hour commute daily. I'm gone from the house a minimum of 10 1/2 hours a day. I scrap after work, on weekends, and even at work on my lunch hour now that I am trying digi. I'm a fallen Flylady follower, so I still have some of my original routines that keep the house from totally caving in (most of the time, LOL). I find that I go in spurts--lots of scrapping, then I'll slack off for a while, then I rev up again. I also have make a list of the monthly challenges and try to do at least 2-3 a weekend and a couple through the week if I can. I think one of the best things you can do, though, is find blocks of uninterrupted time--like when you have the house to yourself for an afternoon or a whole day or if you can go away to a big all day crop. I also like to get up early on Saturday or Sunday and scrap before DH and DS get up--just me and the birdies. I have a really stressful job, so this is my therapy. I MAKE time for it because it makes me happy... and it's cheaper than ammunition for my Glock.
