Do you have a library card?






I do and so do both of my kids....but it has been so long since we have used them I do not know where they are at. The kids mostly use the school

So funny you asked! I have one at 2 different libraries, and I went to use one yesterday at the library we don't usually go to and it had expired. Who knew library cards even could expire?! So we got a new one just yesterday!

Sometimes it takes me forever to get through a novel, and I am so not good with late fees.

Yep! I do and both girls do. Couldn't live without it!

Of course, I'm also active in the friends of the library and volunteer there lots too.

So, sub question - do you pay for your card and if so, how much? I pay $20 for mine as we don't pay city taxes since we live outside the limits. The girls pay $1 each as a 'sub card' on mine.

I do not... I have a "thing" with books where I want to own them. I also sniff them, which is an entirely odd thing, I know. When this kid is old enough to want books we will definitely get a card!

Yes, when I traveled I used to borrow audio books all the time. Now I don't go nearly as much, the library in this town is very out of date.

I do, and it has been too long since I've used it too. As fast as I blow through books, you'd think I'd want to save the money and use the card!

Yes, I have one. Still like the hands-on feel of a book when I do research and sometimes the Internet just doesn't have the info I need.
