using glitter

Post by oceanbreezes423 »

If I want to outline something in glitter, what are your suggestions? In the past I used plain glue and glitter, but the pages became a mess when in a book. Does the stickles products work well for this?

I like stickles. You do need to allow plenty of drying time though. I also have used the glue called dries clear and it works very well for detail glitter.

Yep! Stickles were made to do that! The skinny tip makes creating lines possible!

I agree with everyone else...the Stickles are perfect for this, AND they don't have any stickiness once they are dry.

I use both glitter and stickles a lot. I find with glitter when making cards, glue sticks work best and when I am done with the card, I give it a light mist of hair spray and let that dry. still glittery but keeps the mess down about 99%.

Stickles would work awesome but allow it to dry overnight. It takes quite a while to dry.

I love my stickles but when I want something to look really glittery or a really fine line I use a glue pen that looks like an actual gel pen on a fine glitter. but if you want glitter w/o mess stickles is the way to go

How pronounced do you want this outline? I agree that stickles is the way to go, but if you don't want a lot, dab it around the item and then use your finger to smear it around the edge. You have a shorter drying time and it isn't as bold. JMO
