Hi Ladies!
I am starting to work on my Christmas/Holiday cards for the year. They usually take me too long and I think I am going to simplify this year and go all digital photo type card, and not a hybrid with a millon cut outs and ribbons...lol.
My idea was to use a "Newpaper" background and haven't had luck finding anything but just "News" type fonts.
Any ideas? Thanks so much for any help/suggestions!

I searched on "Digital scrapbook newsprint" and found this one:

Or if you have a scanner, it would be easy to just make your own!

Ruth Davis has this kit...looks like there is a background of newsprint paper.

The paper I used in this LO is from Kim Hill's "Crumpled Edges" paper set, but I think she only has it at her own site... (CG Essentials)
And some of these might help, all by Julie Mead:

Torn Newspaper Elements
Manilla Picks
Main Street Paper Pack

If by some chance you have a subscription to a genealogy site that gives access to historical newspapers, such as Ancestry.com, you can use their newspaper files. I asked permission once, to use it in a paper layout (because I was going to post the layout online), and they said that the historical newspapers are out of copyright and can be reprinted and used.
