Don't forget to tell someone you love them and thank a soldier or emergency personnel today! It has been eight short years and already people forget.....

I will always remember. May God bless all of those who died, were injured, or family members who must go on with life.

I was telling my 6 yr old dd about 9/11 this am before shcool, and I got a little teary eyed. She says, "don't worry mamma, God is taking care of all those people who died." Aren't children so special!

I will always remember..... what a horrible time in our history! I pray for those survivors, and all the families involved
Have a blessed day!
It's one of those things where you remember exactly where you were, and what you were doing, and its terribly sad to think about
How can you not remember where you were and what you felt! So many lives forever changed that day. My son quit college and joined military shortly after, so even in a small way, my own life was affected. My prayers are with them all!

I'm so glad you posted this-- it does seem like too many have just forgotten all about it. What a tragic day in our nation's history. What a sad day for so, so many people. We should never forget. I am taping some of the tv shows on today about 9/11 and going to have my husband and daughter (who was 10 years old at the time) watch them-- you tend to forget the horror of the day.
I don't think I'll ever forget the phone calls I got that morning or where I was that day.

I can still feel the shock and dismay and such incredibly overwhelming sadness. Never forget!
WAS a TIKI BAR GIRL AND ALWAYS WILL BE
I will never forget. My dh was working close to the Pentagon and I was so scared!
I get all teary eyed just watching the memorial on tv this morning. I think alot of people have forgotten. So sad...

I will never forget. I still get goosebumps thinking about what happened.
I doubt it will ever be forgotten... My prayers go out to the family and friends of those who lost someone 8 years ago.

My kids remember exactly which class they were in during school when they heard the news. I can't imagine anyone over the age of 10 that has forgotten this tragedy.

I remember it clear as day. And holding (tightly) my 14 month old baby Mason. Not knowing what/where it was going to hit next. I live less than 1hr from DC and was scared $hitless about what would be hit next. I just sat in my family room, held Mason and cried. uuughhhhh what a terrible day/time/tragedy for our country. We'll be forever changed.
Sorry, had to pause, the radio had the Star Spangled Banner playing....... had to stop and put my hand on my heart.
