How long have you been digi-scrapping? How did you get started?

I started digi scrapping right after ACOT started selling digi. I started by learning to download some freebies, and playing with the software on my computer, Microsoft PhotoDraw. I still use it! Here is my first ever digi layout dated 1/25/06:

What would you do for a creative outlet if you didn't scrap?

What is your favorite sport to watch on tv?

Before I scrapped, I used to do counted cross-stitch, and I would probably also do more ceramic pottery if I didn't scrap.

My favorite sport to watch on tv is FOOTBALL! (Can you tell I'm psyched about the season starting?)

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

There are many places I want to go, but right now, I really want to travel to Italy (and dh and I are going next year for our 20th anniversary). I want to go there for all the amazing artwork, the history, the culture, the food!, and because when I was there, I thought it was such a romantic place, but my dh wasn't with me, so I want to share it with him.

what is your favorite art project to teach?

I love teaching most of my ceramics projects. I guess my favorite one is where they take a tiny item and make it a huge sculpture, like Pop Art. There is a sculptor named Claes Oldenburg who does this with colossal sculpture. The kids come up with so many interesting ideas!

DH and I went to see the new Harry Potter when it came out.

Believe it or not, the last movie we watched on DVD was on Saturday night when we suddenly got in the mood to watch Monty Python's "Meaning of Life." If you like British humor and haven't seen it, you should rent it! Hilarious! (Having a glass of wine helps with the stupid parts. LOL!)
