This is a pic of my SIL and GS that I would like to scrap, but I'm having trouble coming up with a title. Any suggestions?

What a great photo!! Those grins are full of mischief - You can almost see the sparkles in thier eyes. How about "what are they up to" "and then we do...." "Don't tell Mom"
Father and Son bonding time
Have fun with this one.

I like "Don't Tell Mom". I agree - full of mischief!

I see something more sentimental. That look of his son looking up to him. There's a country song (where's Sus?) about a son wanting to grow up to be just like his dad. I know someone on here will know the title. IT's got great lyrics and you could pull something from that. I just texted my niece, she'll know who does it. brb
I used to be a "celebrity cherry", but now I'm in re-hab...... Holy Carp!
Hope it's not the one I'm thinking about, cause it's a sad song. The boy wants to grow up to be like dad, but dad is really absentee, and doesn't make time to be with his kids.baltoscrapper wrote:I see something more sentimental. I'm not sure letumom is this is the one, I don't think it's sad!

Lyrics for Song: Watching You
Lyrics for Album: If You're Going Through Hell
Drivin’ through town just my boy and me
With a Happy Meal in his booster seat
Knowin’ that he couldn’t have the toy ‘til his nuggets were gone.
A green traffic light turned straight to red
I hit my brakes and mumbled under my breath.
His fries went a flyin’, and his orange drink covered his lap
Well, then my four year old said a four letter word
It started with “S” and I was concerned
So I said, “Son, now where’d you learn to talk like that?”
Chorus:
He said, "I’ve been watching you, dad ain’t that cool?
I’m your buckaroo, I wanna be like you.
And eat all my food and grow as tall as you are.
We got cowboy boots and camo pants
Yeah, we’re just alike, hey, ain’t we dad?
I want to do everything you do.
So I’ve been watching you."
We got back home and I went to the barn
I bowed my head and I prayed real hard
Said, “Lord, please help me help my stupid self.”
Just this side of bedtime later that night
Turnin’ on my son’s Scooby-Doo nightlight.
He crawled out of bed and he got down on his knees.
He closed his little eyes, folded his little hands
Spoke to God like he was talkin’ to a friend.
And I said, “Son, now where’d you learn to pray like that?”
Chorus:
He said, "I’ve been watching you, dad ain’t that cool?
I’m your buckaroo, I want to be like you.
And eat all my food and grow as tall as you are.
We like fixin’ things and holding momma’s hand
Yeah, we’re just alike, hey, ain’t we dad?
I want to do everything you do; so I’ve been watching you"
With tears in my eyes I wrapped him in a hug.
Said, “My little bear is growin’ up.”
And he said, “But when I’m big I’ll still know what to do.”
"‘Cause I’ve been watching you, dad ain’t that cool?
I’m your buckaroo, I want to be like you.
And eat all my food and grow as tall as you are.
By then I’ll be strong as superman
We’ll be just alike, hey, won’t we dad
When I can do everything you do.
‘cause I’ve been watchin’ you."
hey yeah
uh huh

I used to be a "celebrity cherry", but now I'm in re-hab...... Holy Carp!
No, no, no. I like that one! Awesome song. I'm not sure, but I think the one that came to my mind was by Steve Green.
Laurie
the line I like out of the song for the title:
I want to do everything you do.
So I’ve been watching you."
I see a look of admiration in the little boys eyes.

Depends on what the title is. I could go with mischevious or sentimental. So far I'm liking all the suggestions.lilkoala3 wrote:What will your journaling say?

Fatastiic picture!
Heres a few ideals!
Like Father, Like son
Best Buddies
My Dad, My hero,
heres a nice quote I used :
You dont raise heroes,
you raise sons.
And If you treat them like sons,
they'll turn out like heroes,
even if its just in your eyes.
Walter Schirra Sr.
It might not fit this photo, but I wanted to pass it on.

I see mischief too but I think the song lyrics would go with the pic as well. You can tell they are partners in crime. Great photo!
Sometimes the one you think is your knight in shining armour might actually turn out to be a retard in tin foil!

Are you thinking of "Cats In the Cradle" by Harry Chapin. It's an oldie so it could of been redone country. Chorus goes something like:
And the cats in the cradle and the silver spoon,
little boy blue and the man in the moon.
when you coming home Dad?
I don't know when

oh I love that song! it makes me cry every time, but I still love it. I think it was also remade my greenday or something. but I like the original better
To me it looks like they are telling secrets, so maybe they are saying "You don't say!"
Mary Love is all around you.
What a great picture! How about doing 2 different layouts...one mischievous with the title "Don't Tell Mom!" and one sentimental with the lyrics of "Watching You". Who says you can't have the best of both worlds?!
PS: That song is absolutely wonderful! Puts a lump in my throat every time I hear it.
