I have hardly scrapped in the last 2 yrs...really since I left the design team here. I have so, so, so, so much stuff that I will never ever use. It's overwhelming and MESSY!! So I have already filled up one of those great big plastic containers with shtuff and I could probably fill 2 more. So, hoping my lss will have a 'yard' sale, we discussed it last week. I'll bring some of it (not a lot) to school with me for the kids when we do little projects. The rest........I guess I'll donate it.
I am actually doing this so I will start scrapping again. I've tried getting things together for a crop here and there, but it is just too much. I just want to keep the basics---tools, cardstock etc, and then get only what I need for particular projects. Wish me luck! The plan is to work on it all this week...boxed up stuff and an organized room.
Sounds like you have a good plan there. Hope that cleaning goes well and that you will get scrapping again soon.
Janet, take a before picture (or an in-progress one) and join my Clean Streak Challenge: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=212330

I do this twice a year...two different lss have their sales at different time. I price things to move (usually 11 or 12 sheets of paper for a buck and any five items...small embellies...for a buck). I cleared 170.00 the last one and about that the one before. My theory was get rid of it.
I am now thinking I'll sell my Wishblade as I don't use it since I got my Slice.
Good luck to you!

WAS a TIKI BAR GIRL AND ALWAYS WILL BE
I'm so glad I don't live by you! I'd probably buy it all and end up in even worse shape than I am.

You could donate it to me if you want. (Like I need more stuff haha)

You should challenge yourself to scrap a page everyday from the stuff you pull out or put in the bin. That's very creative!
Good luck! I guess that is one of my problems. I am not willing to let the stash go.
Good luck with the clean up Janet! I had my room all cleaned up and it looks like a bomb went off again! It doesn't take long! LOL.
good luck Janet - Hope you get to scrap soon.
Hi Janet!! I've done the same thing--a couple of times--over the past couple of years. It really helps to get rid of stuff you know you will never use and get down to the stuff you love and have use for. Good luck with your purge!

I always did well selling at the lss sales, but that store has closed and none of the other stores have garage sales. Wish they did I have a pile of stuff to sell.
Good luck and if we don't hear from you, we will call 911 to make sure you're not covered up in a room of scrappy stuff. LOL
