Sometimes, I just can't help myself but to buy beautifully designed paper with either wording or a design on it that I will "ruin" if I cover it with a photo or photos. You know the kind I mean- it may have a beautiful bird or other image that I cannot bear to cover. I either refrain from using it , or use as an album title page or try to use smaller photos and journal around the motif. I have even cut around the special image to slide a photo partially under it.
Enjoy for we will never have this day again.

I have done that myself. This is one of the reasons I have thousands of sheets of paper. And I keep buying.
Yeah - if you use it you won't have it!

I agree with all of you. Some of it is much too beautiful to cover.
Mary Love is all around you.
I agree, that happens to me all the time.
But after hoarding so much of it, I have finally got to the point where I actually USE it! usually I either cut the design out completely, or cut a part out and slide the picture under it.

I have paper that I have just to have. It is beautiful.

Yes, I am with ya on this! I don't buy a bunch of paper I love, specifically cause I know I won't use it, cause I don't want to cover the image! And like you, and many others, I also have cut around the image to slide photos under it! It seems as the scrapbooking industry gets bigger, they are coming out with more pretty papers that I just can't bare to cover!! LOL
Yep, I used to buy all the paper I loved! Now I make myself stop and think about how I will be able to use it...that has been a BIG step for me! Sometimes I still buy just out of love.... Guess I'm a work in progress!
Have a blessed day!
I know what you mean. I always buy it with the thought that I will probably cut parts of it out for a layout, so I will always buy two. And when a beautiful paper arrives in a shipment that I absolutely love... I have to go and get more with my next order. Cause like QueenMum says... if I use it, then I won't have it anymore. I think it is all part of the addiction!
