Laura (aka....lpap0807) reached out to me and I am so glad she did. We have quite a bit in common. First off, we love the same authors...Sandra Brown and Danielle Steele. We also like the same kind of music....christian pop with her fave being Mark Schultz and mine being Steven Curtis Chapman. She is a paper scrapper like me. She is from Illinois, but the last vacation she went on she came here to Minnesota and visited some spots up north. I asked her what she would do on a "perfect" day and she said she would love to spend the day with her hubby, driving around to places they haven't been, strolling through a park and then finding a new restaurant to try out. Sounds perfect to me too!!!

1) How long have you been scrappin' ?
Off and on for about 10 years (since high school), but seriously scrapping for about 2 years now.


2) Where were you born?
In a small town in Tennessee, but we moved to Baltimore before I was a year old.


3) What is your favorite time of year?
I love the fall and winter months and the cooler weather. My favorite month is October as I love Halloween and the changing of the leaves. Unfortunately, living in Houston hasn't provided much of an opportunity to really enjoy the changing of the seasons as we don't have a traditional "fall" like most places have.


4) Who is your hero?
I would say my husband. He's been through a lot in his life but he still maintains his positive outlook.


5) If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
Donate some of it to charity, save/invest the majority of it...it's amazing how much interest a million dollars could generate, enough to live on without touching the principle. And of course, spend some of it!

Favorite sport: basketball, baseball, football

College sports: went to univ of Texas for basketball (back in the day)

Car: gold Jeep cherokee w/ 4-wheel drive to survive the icy roads in Colorado (supposed to snow 2nite! Ugh)

Kids: no kids, borrow everyone elses!

ACOT Member: maybe a year, but I rarely get to participate much because I work so much .

I learned about ACOT from my mom last July, I discovered the mb myself

Yes and Yes. I've tried to make it to the past few crops here and I go to one monthly at church or work

Sarasota, FL - it's called Siesta Key, some of the whitest and finest sand you'll ever see

I wondered upon it one day looking for some scrapbook supplies to help my Universal Studios pages for super hero's of all thing and the girls helped me immediatly and actually sent me a huge RAK and I just got addicted here and see it as a family now!



2. Have you ever attended an online crop or regular crop before?



Only these online crops.. I've been doing them since I've been a member for going on 5 years now. And no never been on a regular crop.. don't like the idea of carrying all my stuff. Did sit in once and didn't like how everyone stared at everyone, I couldn't concentrate.

3. Do you have any pets? What kind?



Of course!!! I have, well officially 4. My parents have my Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab Mix dog and my fluffy organge cat.. and me and my dh have 2 dogs.. a Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix and Shepard/Lab mix. Plus a fish tank full of fish!

4. What's your favorite hobby other then scrapping?



Going to Sea World! I know that doesn't sound like a hobby, but for me it is. Sitting and watching the animals interact differently each time I go, is so peaceful and serene to just emerse myself into. Of course I'm always taking tons of photos!!!

5. What's your favorite animal?

hmm.. let me think.. The Dolphin!!! Well any marine life.. well any Animal!! Huge Animal Lover!

Ruban Rouge is my LSS and it's jammed packed with everything you could want.

I have two furbabies, Jazi who is a rot/black lab mix and Sasha my shepard/boxer mix. We also have adopted ds's beagle for a bit.

I think a week when we were on vacation before having our laptop.

This is a great way to get to meet people. I just met DolphinSoul and learned;


1. How long have you been scrapbooking?

I'll say around 10 years, but extremely addicted for about 5-6!!!



2. Do you prefer digi or paper?

Paper all the way, love being hands on instead of clicking all the time, due to always on the computer due to working, but love digi for the idea that I can take so much, print it off and put on my layouts to jazz them up!





3. Do you have a favorite product that you use all the time for scrapbooking?

Stickers! I know I'm a basic girl.. I just need my patterned papers, stickers, some Jolee products and I'm good!





4. Have you always lived in FL.

Nope, moved here almost 6 years ago after I graduated highschool!





5. Where do you do most of your scrapbooking?

In the guest bedroom! No one visits anyway.. but I keep a small card table up and then have bins I roll in and out of the closet when I'm ready to scrap!!
