A service mows ours - but we live in an apartment community so it's not our responsibility. Haha...but when I lived at home my Dad or one of us girls would mow the grass. My Dad is real particular about how the grass is mowed and it was a big thing to be allowed to mow the front yard.

Usually my DS, but sometimes my DH. When I lived with my parents I always mowed the lawn (loved being in the sun); but I mowed the lawn once since I've been married to DH, hit a stone and broke the mower-he refused to let me mow again! Now I just sit in the sun reading or hang out with my horse. I really don't mind not mowing. I always used a hand mower, but the guys use a riding mower and then complain about how much work it is.

That is what my dh is for! (LOL). We do our own -- and my dd will be learning, too. We'll make it a family affair!

My DH mows the yard. I have learned an important lesson.................If you once mow the lawn, it will from then on be "YOUR JOB". So when I got married this time I told my husband that I did not know how to mow !!!! {or take out the trash} Those are the ONLY two jobs I do not do !!!

Lawn? What is that? I have a whole bunch of green weeds and let nature take its course. My neighbors do their own lawns, but I was here first when it was country. Now, I just do not feel like I have to do the lawn. It gets cut every two weeks in the summer, but not by me. I plant a few planters of petunia or sultana but that is it.

DH does our lawns. He takes great pride in his yards and keeps them looking very nice all the time.

When I was younger I thought that would be the coolest thing to do in the yard!! I always wanted to have a wildflower garden/maze in the front yard! I could never get my parents convinced though...good luck with the wildflower growing!!
