I can honestly say I have only mowed the lawn once in my life, and that's cuz my poor dad's back had gone out. Otherwise, he always does it. :P

I mow most of the time. I accidentally did it a couple of times back in about 2000, because it was taking dh too long to get to it, and then it became my job for life. Be careful what kind of work you do around the house...don't even touch it if you're not willing to keep doing it ladies! My son can be talked into it sometimes, but he hates the weeding, so I end up doing that every time!

This is one of the reasons I sold my house and bought a Condo.  I hate to mow.  As a teen, that was my chore after my bro went into the Navy.  we had over two acres, lots of trees and rolling land.  Gad I hated it.

We have a service come and do it.  I used to do it, but stopped last spring when I was hugely pregnant.  And now we still use them since I have no time and DH hates to do it.

Our dear gardener comes every Saturday. He does most of the lawns in our neighborhood with his teen son.

We do our own - when I'm on vacation during the summer I usually try to take care of it.  Otherwise Phil mows it.

We do our own...Well truthfully that would be the "royal we", since dh is the one who does the mowing!  My part is usually just to say "gee, looks like the grass is getting pretty long again!".  Hasn't needed it yet this season.  With the warm weather we are expecting this week (and all the rain we already had), it will be grownig like crazy soon!
Have a blessed day!

My dh mows our lawn.  It's not too big, so it only takes him about a half hour.

Does DS#2 count as a lawn boy!?!  LOL!!  Yes, we mow our own. We all get out there and do our own gardening, lawn work, etc. It's good for the soul and spirit.

I do the mowing at our house. My dh did it when we were first married and both working. I took it over when we moved and the kids were in school hoping once my dss were older they would take over. So much for that plan. I spent more time fighting with them to do it and then they would do a terrible job so I just started doing it again. I even bought myself a self propelled mower to make it easier on the hills. I actually don't mind it as I get to be outside. Last summer I had the boys dust and vacum while I mowed, which I plan to do again. For some reason they don't mind cleaning as much as mowing the lawn.

We do our own.  Well, dh does.  I can't run the huge lawn mower that we own.  I miss the push one!

Dh generally is the one who mows our lawn; but when he is unable to do so, then I will take over.     (we have a large yard area in comparison to the other yards in our neighborhood so it takes a while to mow.)      I have a friend who owns his own lawn service and during the summer, when we are away out of town, he will come to my rescue!    And gives me discount rates!)

Oh, Ido all the mowing every stinking bit of it! We live on a farm and have a front yard, a back yard, a side yard and lets not forget around the barns and the corrals. Sorry, If that sounds a little bitter but,it's nothing to spend two days getting the yard work done.
