I have done the gorcery game before and it was good for saving money. Where we live now though the stores listed are wat to expensive. I have found making out a menu and then a list and only buying whats on the list (except for fruit and snacks) has saved me about $100 dollars a month because I no longer have 3 jars of mayo and 10 cans of beans ect.. in the cupboard. I make a menu based off whats in the cupboard and freezer and ony buy what I need to make the meals. I watch the ads and when I see a good buy I go there and stock up.

I'm going to have to check out this Grocery Game. Sounds interesting.

the grocery game dot com...lol. It's only $1 for the first 4 weeks, then $10 for the first store, and $5 each additional store. Check it out. : )
Nothing makes me happier than seeing the word "CLEARANCE"

I'm a saver, that's only cause we live pay check to pay check and my kids are small, no tuition yet not for 10 years. I think I could save or really should start a college fund. Any way, I buy generic, the only think I splurge on really is my Scrapbook supplies, I pay myself 10% out of every pay period and put that in "my" checking account and put 50 in a Christmas club, the rest goes into the "house" account where everything "else" comes out of. Bills, groceries, clothes for the kids etc. it works, you should try it. Pay yourself 10% and put it in some kind of account, so when you "think" you want/need it you could use the money you have in that account.
Good for you!! Great discipline!
