No, I don't have any close friends nearby.
A bunch of us from the LSS used to get together once a month for dinner but that fell apart about a year ago.

Yes. I have two different groups of friends that I get together with once a month (one for the past 42 1/2 years!). If you don't do that, it's too easy to lose contact.

No I dont have alot of good friends. The one I used to go out with stopped being my friend when I got married.

Well, I have Bunko once a month, so I guess I do! That's my only regular girls night...the rest are a little more spontaneous, or for birthdays.

Very seldomly but I have had "planned" nights. Usually Tuesday night we'll meet for dinner but not very often. Tonight, we're going for sushi. I love sushi!

Well, once a month the math teachers have a training for our calculators and one of the other teacher's and I always go out to eat after. And now I just joined a book club...so there's another night out with the girls. Do these count?

We do not! We get together every now and then when everyone can fit it into their schedules. I think it is ashame because whenever we do get together we have a blast!

Yes, the second Wednesday of every month we have dinner. And sometimes on Friday so we can stay out later.

sadly no, not after we've moved farther away, and everyone got too busy
having more kids & taking on new jobs, plus the economy is not helping.
