- Which place has the easiest site to manuever and to which to upload?
- What is the approximate cost?
- What type of paper and ink is used?
- Where do you go if there isn't a Costco?
- Do you design in 12x12 and print in 8x8?
- Do you have any other suggestions for a newbie?
I know this has been asked and answered before but I cannot find the thread, I'm sorry. Where do you recommend getting 12x12 digital pages printed if you do not have a wide format printer.
I was going to post the same question!!! I did almost all digital layouts this weekend and have no clue where, how or any of that to print them!
Thered are 2 places I order from. One is scrapbooksplease.com. They sometimes have their 12x12 standard matte on for .99 each and is a great deal and the pages turn out great. (don't go with the value matte paper it is very thin). The other place that is always wonderful and has great cust. service is polkadotpotato.com. They have always done a great job! They are priced a bit higher at about 3.50 but also have sales sometimes that you could take advantage of.
Thanks Jen, another site was talking about PDP and I wondered about their price.
I'll check out the other site too.

I think Wal-Mart now prints 12x12
eta: You don't have to upload your prints online either. You can put them on a cd or a memory card and take them in that way. They have a machine that you then put the cd or card into and pick the pictures and the size you want printed.

Scrapping Simply offers 12x12 for only $1.99 and the quality is great. I get my 8x8's printed there for just 99 cents each.

Looks like ScrapbooksPlease.com has 12x12 for .99 right now.

ETA: oops, sorry, guess that's the price of the value matte.

Hello all thanks for the heads up were to get 12 X 12 pages printed. I was going to invest in the Epson I think 1400 or somethign like that I do not remember the exact number but anyways I was going to pay the 300 or so dollars for it because you can print 12 X 12 pages and stuff just did not because I do not know how good it prints and wanted to see if anyone has used it or owned it.
I have an old Epson 12x12. A lot of scrappers like Epson because the inks last so well, meaning the printed item should last a long time. The ink is expensive, but to me it's worth it. It dries instantly, doesn't smudge. I have deliberately run tap water over it to test it, and other than the corner I ran the water over turning up a little, you wouldn't know I had done that; the ink did not run at all! My printer has 1 ink cartridge for all the colors, so when one color runs out, I can't use any of them any more, except for the black. I don't know if the newer machines have individual ink cartridges, which would save some money.

Thank you Kim. It looks as though they print on photo paper for that price and that would be ideal.
I have had some printed at Costco and they came out great. Less than $3 too. I know you can find cheaper but for me, ya can't beat the convenience of that!!

I've been wondering about that myself and haven't wanted to do any 12x12 digital. Now I will try one.
