WOW, is it that time of year already? I love King Cake I have a good friend from Mississippi that got me hooked.
That looks really good! I forgot it's that time of the year! I think we should all scrap a little Mardi Gras this February!
One of the men at work brought us one last year and it had a little baby in it. It was very good!
I miss so much living in Louisiana during this time of year! I wanna go celebrate it so bad!!! I love the King Cakes too! Yummy!!

I sure wish someone would have sent me one of those cakes. It looks delish! We have paczckis here, too.
mmmmmmmm Gambino's - - - just down the street from where I am right now...
If you find the baby (which is not baked in anymore, you have to stick them in yourself - a liability thing I think - ya know, chomp down on one break a tooth, or swallow one, hurt your tummy) you are responsible for buying the next king cake.
I like king cake, but I am not crazy about all the crazy fillings they have now. There's a ton of them. And by the time Mardi Gras actually gets here, you kind of get sick of them. (Yea I said that.)

Yep!! Gambino's is where she ordered it from. I agree with you about the fillings. They are tasty but I like the traditional the best. And guess what, they did bake the baby in. I got it on my first piece!JenniferP wrote: mmmmmmmm Gambino's - - - just down the street from where I am right now...
