 I have been off the board for awhile, my computer got a virus and I have spent hours..upon hours trying to get it right again. Finally did a reinstall of the OS and now I am downloading all the programs I have had. Its fixrd..yeah! Its hell being without a computer..lol.
Can I ask for prayers for my dad please. He came over New Years and wasn't feeling well. They went home a few days later and he kept getting worse. After many doctor appts, a CT scan and an abdominal scan, he was told he is in the beginning stages of Mesothelioma. He worked in the shipyards when I was a kid for a couple years and has asbestos in his lungs and in his diaphram. It hasn't develped into Mesothelioma (cancer of the lining around your organs) yet but the Doctor told my mom and him that this was the beginning of it. He then told them to go to Arizona and have a good time. They were getting ready to head down there when he got sick. I don't think my Mom is being completely honest with me about the whole thing because when I talk to her about she is very vague. And that scares me. From what I read about this, he has all the syptoms of Mesothelioma in the full blown stage. What makes me really sad is he just retired 3 months ago. My mom made the comment that he just retired and now he is going to leave her. When I asked her about that she got very vague. They are in AZ right now having a great time! So please keep my Dad in your prayers..thanks!
