It's for scrappy stuff!! I need to make a cute little sign to hang from the knob and cover some boxes in patterned paper, etc for inside huh?
If anyone sees something they think would be cute inside, send me a pic.

Janshotgun wrote: Fantastic!!!! You did a great job, Diana. What exactly are the steps involved. Did you have to strip off the old finish or sand it down? What kind of paint did you used and any sealer over it? It looks like alot of work but you made it your own!
I lucked out, Jan! I didn't have to sand it. I have had to sand dressers in the past before staining them but it wasn't necessary for this project, thank goodness!
I washed the entire thing with a damp rag, dried it with a kitchen towel and removed the glass panels from the side so I could reach in to paint, and to throw away the horrible gold diamond panels. LOL
First I painted on a coat of Snowstorm paint in an eggshell finish. After it was thoroughly dried, I used an angled detailed brush along with a mini roller.
My shoulder hurts. LOL
I forgot to add, I did not seal it afterwards. I want it to naturally get a little bit shabby with wear. Plus it makes it easier to change in the future if I so desire.
WHOA. You get to have that, aaallllll for your scrappy stuffs?
WOOT!!!!!!
I love it! Don't forget to show us when you get the new knobs!
