Thinking of a song from the early to mid 90's. Want to say it was a duet. Man and woman breaking up, taxi pulls up, she's on her knees.
Any ideas?
Rosa sat so that Martin could walk. Martin walked so that Barack could run. Barack ran so that our children could fly.
Geez Renee...that sounds like about a hundred country songs !
JK...you've got me stumped though!

Not Trisha. I have all of Trisha. LOL

my other thought was Stay by Sugarland but there isn't a truck in that one either -
now I have to agree - sounds like a lot of songs............do you know any lyrics at all? U can search by that on some sites

I'm not a C&W fan but I DO like Wynonna. This song came out in 2005 but it's about a couple breaking up, a taxi in the driveway and her afraid she'd wind up down on her knees. :)

Puh-leaze! Don't make me remember!! *runs screaming into the night...*

I'm not saying forget what you lost
I suppose there's a purpose in pain
What we make of ourselves has a cost
And it's paid every time we take hold of the reins

Trish seriously DOES rock!!!!!! Why didn't I think of Wynona? Esp since what made me think of THAT song was her and Clint Black-A Bad Goodbye.
The song actually came out in the 90's.I know because I remember where I was listening to it and there is NO way I was there in 2005. I think that album came out later.
Now, I have to find it and download it when I get home tonight.
