we got a christmas gift early this year. yesterday my dd gave birth to our first granddaughter! kayla mae weighs 6 lbs. 1.5 oz. and measures 19" long. this photo i took right as the doctor grabbed her. you can still see the cord attached. she's tiny, pretty, feminine, and healthy! later this evening or tomorrow morning she comes home to live with us. i can't wait to have a new baby in the house again!
