What is your spending limit on your kids Christmas presents if they are 10 and older?

What did you get for darling husband this year?

If your SIL's husband lost his job just before Christmas would you put in money to buy the kids presents that will say, from Santa (kids are 9 and 3), or would you tell them that they will get enough presents from relatives, and that you will help them out with the rent?

Sorry, I guess the last is a little too personal, but kinda wondering.

Depends on if they have any needs as opposed to just wanting lots of crap.

I would give money for the gifts from Santa (within reason) because the kids deserve to have at least one gift from Santa. I would hope that the BIL will be out pounding the pavement the day after Christmas to get another job to pay the rent.

I am sorry I am sorry-------------- they will be back soon I promise. I was without internet the last 2 days and tomorrow is actually my Christmas becasue I have to work Christmas-- I will be back in full force on The 2nd of January!!!!!!!!!!
