Yes, this last summer on vacation.  I read Valerie Bertinelli's autobiography and Twenty Wishes by Debbie McComber.

Oh, sure! I used to read my Trixie Belden books in the car on the way back from the bookstore when I was a kid!

In college I read Stephen King's Insomnia in a straight 12 hour stretch. Can't do that kind of thing anymore, though sometimes I might try with a JD Robb novel. :)

Re: Question of the day 11/24
Depends on the size and complexity of the book.  I usually need two or more days to read a book, even weeks.  If it's a short, easy read I might finish it in a day.  Can't remember when I last did that, though.

Oh I loved the VC Andrews books!!!!  I did not read them in a day but I did shuffle thru them quickly!!  The only book that I think I read in one day (besides picture books!  lol) was The Bridges of Maddison County!  I even cried thru that book!  The book was much better than the movie too...and I love the movie!

I have - the last time I did it was probably last winter but I can't remember what it was. Probably either a fluff novel or a John Grisham. I don't have time to read anything other than school books these days.

Oh my gosh, I think when I was in 8th grade I read the Judy Blume books "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" and "Superfudge" in just a day. I loved her books. Freckle Juice, Are you there God, it's me Margaret. I actually bought some of her books last year (just to have as memories). Hmmm, sounds like a good scrapping page idea. :-D

Re: Question of the day 11/24
I do quite often.  It depends on how much time I have and how into the book I'm reading.
The last that I remember was the new Stephanie Plum one.
