So my birthday is next week and I think I convinced hubby to take me there for my birthday. Just wanna know if anyone has been there...was it good? Worth the money? Anything you can recommend?

It is sooooooooooo good! Don't eat all day because they serve you a FEAST!
I did a LO about it here.

I haven't been myself, but my brother and sil RAVE about it and would go everyday if they could! Pricey, really pricey, but totally worth it!
That sounds like fun! Let us know what you thought of it afterwards!!
Trish ~ It's all fun and games until somebody loses an EYELET!
Awesome LO Jess! Thanks ladies...I am so looking forward to going...I'll let you know!

If you watch calories & fat, just forget about it because it is a killer. Otherwise, you'll savor every morsel & love it.
I love the melting pot - great atmosphere, food. But my dh hates it! He says it is paying far too much for too little food which you cook yourself.
For your birthday you will love it - just don't let the dh b*@^ch!

Nom nom nom.......that is my FAVORITE place!!! I make dh take me there every year for my birthday! It's not his favorite either, must be something about guys!
It is spendy, esp if you eat a full course meal there, which will make you miserably full. So, here's what we do, cuts on the cost, calories and the "roll me out in a wheelbarrow" feeling........... Order cheese, for sure!, than do the salad (best salads ever) and finally, dessert. We skip the whole "meat" portion, because 1.) its expensive 2.) who wants to cook their own food and 3.) it takes forever to cook, to eat it one bite at a time 4.) the veggies and potatos never get all the way cooked. So we stopped ordering the meat platter and just go with cheese, salad and chocolate!!!!!!! Its heavenly!

I used to be a "celebrity cherry", but now I'm in re-hab...... Holy Carp!
OMG! It is my most favorite restaurant in the whole world!!!!!!!!!!!! A wonderful date - it takes around 2 hours, or at least - longer than your average meal. I DREAM about it !~ I've been going forever - I went there for my highschool prom the first time (and I'm 42 now!!!) My favs: The cheddar fondue - the original, traditional one. omg. Then the salad is divine - I like the chef w/ the house dressing. Then the entree (a combo of beef/chicken/seafoods to choose from. OH - and the stuffed mushrooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my. I really need to go. - it's all divine. THENNNNN.........the chocolate - there are so many to choose from, but my fav is still the original traditional milk chocolate w/ peanuts chipped up in it. They will bring cheesecake, marshmellows, bananas, brownies, strawberries, pineapples...........and more, for dipping.
My hubby doesn't love it like I do - but he takes me for our anniversary. And I LOOOVVVEE to go there w/ a girlfriend, for our birthdays............great atmosphere for chatting and indulgence!

Both DH and love the place for a romantic dinner. And it is also a great place for a girly meal with a couple of girlfriends. Their Dark Chocolate Dessert Fondue is to die for. Definately go - a little pricey, but worth it.

It's ok. I don't know if I think it's worth the money....but the dessert is totally worth the money (you can do that alone). We usually go to Fogo de Chao for dinner, then the Melting Pot for dessert. And spend the next day at the gym.
I love it, but don't really think it's worth the money. It is a neat experience though. And the dessert is fantabulous, that part is worth the money for sure.
I've been on their LadiesNights and just done the cheese and chocolate. For me that's the best of all of it!
I know my dh wouldn't like it -but for couples they put you in little tables that are off by themselves.
If you get an Entertainment book there are discounts in it.

You MUST go there, it's amazing! You need to order the 5 course meal though to truly enjoy the experience. Be prepared to be there for a couple of hours.
You and the baby will love it!
I'm not late
Everyone else is way too on time.
