these things are huge a sometimes have a whole body band to whole them on - they have lights, bears, you name it!!

 None that time.

I have never heard of Mums. Football was always the big sport though; we had bonfires and homecoming events (I wasn't involved though as I was shy and not athletic).

 When I was in college at Northern State Univ. in Aberdeen, SD mums (the flower) were a tradition...yellow or maroon for the school colors.  They were everywhere.
