 I use to use an electric one because I seem to be allergic (on my  legs) when I use a regular razor. However, I can't afford ANOTHER electric one since the last one died. 
When I use a regular one (no matter what kind or what shaving gel/cream I use) in less than 24 hours my legs itch like crazy. I've woken up scratching my legs because they itched so bad. Have no idea why this started a few years ago.

 I have no idea what it is called (and I'm too lazy to go upstairs and check).  As far as how often...I'm not very hairy at all and I actually don't have to shave more than maybe once a week if that often.  And no I don't have prickles.

 I don't have a lot of hair on my legs. I just use a regular razor. The pink gillette one with three blades. Dh uses these too. lol  I probably shave a couple of times a week usually just below my knees since I don't wear shorts much just capris in the summer.

I tried the epilady when they first came out. It was too much pain for me. And I have an electric one I use for any quick shaves but I don't like it either.

I use cheap Bic razors right now, but no matter what I use---I shave my underarms everyday and my legs just about everyday. It's part of the washing thing for me. Although, since I have been sick---that has gone by the wayside.

 I use the venus razor and I usually shave every 6 days.  My skins dries out so bad after shaving, so I don't do it that often.

W/ the wet/dry electric one, you don't get that awful razor burn!? Cause, if you don't I'm all over that!

 Now if we are talking about the pits...that is daily. I was just thinking legs...which get shaved every 2-3 days.

 Regular ones - haven't ever used the electric.  I have to shave at least every other day.  Every day with its summer

Regular.....the Venus.....armpits every day......legs aren't hairy so about once every week.

 I use both, because my legs can't take a real razor too often. I hate shaving though so maybe only 1-2 days a week. My poor DH....

 i have a quattro and a venus and an electric - i don't use them more than once in a longer-than-I-should-really-wait while in the winter and a more regular interval in the summer.
