 oh no. I had that happen with the kids. Sneaking in a drink to the play room. I have oxy clean powder made it into a paste and well it worked.
Hope you find something that will get it out.

 Hope one of those cleaners work.  If not, you might try Resolve.  My niece spilled some red kool-aid on their carpet and it came right out with that.  Yeah, I wish I could do something about bleach too.  My DH did it to ours.  At least I can get out what the kids spill!

*tee hee* the update is I need to get off my duff and do the amonia thing! I got some yesterday so I'm all set, just need another cup of coffee to get me going this morning.

Try Dawn soap ... it takes anything and everything out of clothes (and even oil off a duck? was it?)  Seriously my daughter in law is a nurse and we use Dawn even for the blood, iodine ... everything.

I feel your pain, sister! I had a full glass of V-8 Blueberry/Pomegranate juice sitting on the coffee table yesterday and Xander walked past and knocked it right off. Luckily it didn't stain - I hit it with Resolve Carpet Cleaner immediately. And said a lot of really inappropriate things!

 I too have experienced the red dye 40 disaster and this is why anything other than the "invisible" Kool-aid is banned from our house.
