 I have done that twice so far for my daughter.  She is 12 too. Both times I swore I wouldn't do it again...I know I probably will.
During the summer we borrowed the huge 20 foot tall inflatable water slide from our church, and they had a blast. Also had a shaving cream fight..the pictures are great!
They made thier own pizza's...lots of fun...
I have a few more grey hairs, but i survived. (my husband too..they love him)
I teach our churches Mpact girls club (like girlscouts) ages 9-11 each week.
My class grew from 8 - 10 girls to 18 - 20 this year.  It is crazy!  They have more energy than the energizer bunny, and are louder than a jet airplane.
But...what memories they are making right??
The power of prayer gets me through.

 OMG I can honestly say I know how you feel.  I let my 11yr old have a slumber party.  I had 10 boys in my house plus my 3 boys.  It was wild and they didn't want to sleep.  It was crazy.  They ate all the food and opened sodas that they didn't drink.  They played the Wii all night and all slept in the front of the house on the floor.  Funny thing was they all slept til 12 which was wonderful for me!!!!!!

So I hope you survived it, and I'm pretty sure there will be more parties just not as many kids!!!!!
