I have a question that I have been wanting to ask and I am glad to see the first layout. How do you do those journaling strips?  Are they just printed from the computer and then just cut into strips? I have tried this but I am legally blind and my strips are not as straight as those I see here! I really like the way they look on a page.

Judy, that is usually how they are done. I cut mine apart with a ruler and an exacto knife.  Maybe it would help you cut them straighter if you printed a line between each row of typing?  However, I've seen them cut apart crooked and it looks very interesting also.

Thanks. The knife and ruler  might work  better for me. I have been  using my paper trimmer but I have to get really close to see something and with the trimmer there are too many "layers' to deal with and I can't tell exactly where I am cutting. I can probably get closer  and see better by using the knife and ruler. I just need to get me a decent ruler! I may try a rotary cutter too.
