Driving down my long and winding road on Friday, I had to stop the car to let this guy cross the street:



Never seen a peacock in my area before! He sure took his time, and he was hooting the whole time! It was very bizarre. Driving down that same road yesterday, I was even more surprised to see four or five others! I had no idea we had a peacock colony here! LOL!

I was surprised by how noisy those birds are...they squawked all the way through my niece's outdoor wedding!

Last Summer we had a peacock come through our yard and dh didn't believe me!!

 My grandma and grandpa used to have them.  I sure miss seeing them in Texas!
