Any Jon and Kate Plus 8 Fans?

I am obsessed with that show and I don't know why. I don't even have a problem with Kate...I know most people hate her, but I don't.

I adore Hannah. If I ever saw them in public, I'd have to resist the urge to go swoop her up and take her home. I'm sure they wouldn't miss just one little kid would they?!? LOL!

I don't know why people hate Kate. I like her too, granted she needs to be nicer to John sometimes. I love the show.

I only flip thru the channels and it seems like every time I stop on that show, the kids are all screaming or causing mayhem of some sort.

That woman must take some SERIOUS drugs, dude. I'd have to be in a coma.

Marissa and I watch the show too. I like Kate too! Hell if I was at home with 8 kids all day I would be alittle bitchy too! LOL!

okay- I will admit I have seen it a few times-- but I hate KATE-- she seems to be a pre-madonna first class female. She appears to want everything handed to her on a golden spoon. I realize that being home with that many kids has to great your nerves but you dont have to be such a brat about it--grow up. She made her situation-- she needs to learn to handle it-- and I feel sorry for the older child as she always seems left out-- I dont like they way they talk to the kids either-- just down rude and disrespectful. JMO though

I watch it sometimes too. My dd likes it, she calls it the "baby show". I never used to watch it because, as a pp said, every time I flipped past it they seemed to be screaming and kate was whining and drinking coffee, then I started to actually pay attention occasionally and have grown to like them. Kate is a bit of a prima donna in some ways, and could be nicer sometimes, but you gotta give them a bit of a break and Jon seems to let it roll off his back pretty well. Honestly I just admire them dealing with so many kids. I have two little ones and omg I just can't imagine how she does it! It blows my mind every time - I think that's the fascination of it for me. And I actually like how they deal with their kids. They are very firm and yet loving and I thing that's great. No one in that situation would be a perfect parent - heck not many of us are with our own smaller broods!

And I agree about Hannah, so cute how she's always following mom and dad and helping do stuff. And Joel too - they are all adorable.

I love the show! I think Jon and Kate are awesome parents...with 8 children there needs to be structure and discipline or I'm sure they would go crazy.

I like the show too and I don't hate Kate at all. I think she just expects Jon to help. Yeah, maybe he is tired from working but after being a stay at home mom, I can understand her frustations completely! I know it's hard to manage 1, I can't imagine 8. Yikes!

I love the show. I even watch the rerun after the new one is on. I like Kate I don't think she is that bad.

we watch this show ALL the time and DH is the one to usually find it on!!! I don;t hate Kate, but she expects way too much of Jon...I know she is home all day and BRAVO to her, but he does work too, so I think sometimes she needs to give hima break...and she is WAY TOO OCD for me with all of her little notes haning everywhere~JMO!

I love that show. I have it tivoed. I love kate. and I love jon. The way they are with each other is howe my bf and i are towards each other.

IT's one thing to ask a lot of someone but there is a difference when you ask with kindness and respect.

Jon's not one of the kids - don't treat him like one. She can even be a bit more polite to the kids.

How do you expect the kids to learn manners if you don't treat them with respect.

I know we all get impatient but adding "please" and "thank you" doesn't take much time.

She'd probably get more out of Jon if she would just change the tone of her voice.

I love the show and am looking forward to the new season!! I feel bad for Jon at times as well, but with all kate has to do it is understandable that Jon is the one she feels safe to take it out on. Shows that they have a vary stable marriage and they are being real and not fake.

Queen Mum, I totally agree. I had to quit watching it because I couldn't take the way they treated each other much less the kids. There was too much rudeness all around for me. It made me want to slap them both and take all of the kids away to happier environment.

O LOVE LOVE LOVE this show!!! I can't get enough of it. When I find episodes I haven't seen, they must be watched. I DVR A LOT of them though b/c my husband hates it...lmao I have to watch it when he is sleeping. I am actually watching it as I type this! I think Kate is a fabulous mom and Jon a fantastic dad. I do think Kate is bitchy at times but who the hell wouldn't be with 8 kids. I love her organization and structure though. I only hope I can be that way when I have children!

Love the show! I give Kate and Jon alot of praise. I don't know how they do it w/ 8 kids. Gosh I would be pulling my hair out.

My fave little guy is Collin. I just think he is so cute.

They may have a stable marriage now - especially since they are being filmed and getting paid for this. But how long would you tolerate someone talking that way to you otherwise?

Or, think of it this way, if they are nicer to each other, how much closer will that bring them?

And teach the kids about being kind?

I'd rather watch them then the Duggers (who all seem like they are on happy pills) but I do prefer when people treat each other with kindness and respect.
