 I'll have the TV on or the CD player. I need background noise when I scrap. Of course I usually provide my own since I start talking to myself...

 Depends. If I am home by myself, I have to have the tv on or a cd going. The silence is freaky. At crops, I like the radio. I don't even listen to it 99% of the time, but silence is weird and creeps me out.

 The sound of sirens, homeless people yelling, and traffic is plenty noise for me, thank you.  I hate Philly.

 Sometimes I'll have a tv show on, but when I'm really 'serious' about scrapping it's usually quiet, or sometimes soft radio.
