I've had a few requests on posting directions to make the flower on the front of this card.
I'm not good with verbal instructions so I will do my best.
1. I made the orange ring in the middle first. I learned how to do that at a class at the Scrap Expo a few years ago by a company called Quick Quotes. You take a circular slide mount and wrap it with ribbon. Unfortunately the Quick Quotes booth at the Expo is the only place I have found to buy circle slide mounts.
2.Then I cut 12 pieces of 2-3 inch ribbon and looped them and glue doted them to the back of the ring.
3. I glued the flower to my card and put some glitter glue around the inside of the ring to hide the paper that the large button I glued in the center did not cover.
Really hope that makes since.
Yes, yes thank you! You are so talented. Love the ribbon flower on that card!
-If it's scrappy it makes me happy!
VERY cool! Maybe someday I will be able to use up all the ribbon that I have hoarded.
Rosa sat so that Martin could walk. Martin walked so that Barack could run. Barack ran so that our children could fly.
Gorgeous!! Thanks for the instructions.
Great directions! The flower is so cute.

That flower is so stinkin' cute Ronny! Thanks a bunch for the directions!
I was thinking, I have some old ribbon slides in my stash somewhere...I'll bet they would work for the circle slide. Or, a chipboard circle, or even just the button if it were big enough, huh? Just thinking out loud here, because I really want to make one of those flowers and I may not have the slide!

Thank you so much Ronny! I was hoping you would post this!! I love the flower!
